Awards and Certificates
You will get many types of awards and certificates while you are in CDS.
Please keep the original for yourself and send in the copy of your documents as PDF to us.
Your records will be saved under your student file.

When you meet with Mr. Lee for Universities in Korea, especially in the senior year,
we will ask you to bring the original certificates and awards
to compare with the file and multiple checks before submit the file for an application.
If you cannot find the certificate, please kindly ask HS office if they can help you with it.
Same as the certificates you got from outside of school.
If you cannot find the original,
it is your responsibility to get in touch with the organization that you got the certificate from and get the new one
Volunteer Hours
To graduate CDS, students are required to do volunteer work (60 Service hr) from 9th grade to 12th grade.
It can be many different types of volunteer work on and off school.

In order to update your record, we ask you to bring in the proof of document from the agency or institute.
When you are done with the volunteer work, you should submit the documents which should indicate:
Who (your name), when, where, what, how many hours.
If it is from a teacher, we also need the teacher's signature on the paper.
The teacher can share the information via Spreadsheet or Email too.
If a teacher wants to have a format, Ms. Han will share a form.

Over 150 hours of Service:
Only if you submit all the docs to Ms. Han by the certain date, you can get a medal.
The specific date will be announced every year.
