University of Arizona

April 14, 2026

The University of Arizona, located in Tucson, Arizona, is a large public research university. It was the first university in the state and has grown into a well-recognized institution, especially for its research and student opportunities. With a warm desert climate throughout most of the year, students have many opportunities to participate in outdoor activities.

There are many different undergraduate programs that are offered as well as over 600 clubs and organizations that students can become involved in.

Arizona State University

A college representative recently visited to share information about Arizona State University. ASU is a public research university located in Tempe, Arizona. The university operates across several distinct campuses, including the Tempe, Downtown Phoenix, Polytechnic, and West Valley campuses. ASU offers many innovative programs in areas such as Business and Management, Engineering and Technology. Its primary strength lies in providing students with interdisciplinary opportunities, encouraging them to combine degrees according to their interests and customize their academic paths.

Johns Hopkins University

April 3, 2026

Johns Hopkins University (JHU) came to visit CDS!
A private research university located in Baltimore, Maryland, JHU is known for its strong emphasis on research, innovation, and interdisciplinary learning. Students had the opportunity to learn about what the university has to offer and what life is like on the JHU campus. They also had the chance to ask questions and speak further with the college representative after the presentation.

University of Massachusetts Amherst 

March 10, 2026

UMass Amherst came to our school today. It is a public university known for its strong academics, vibrant campus life, and commitment to research and innovation. 

The university gave nearly 85% of first-year students scholarships, grants, loans, and work-study opportunities. The university offers over 100 undergraduate majors, allowing students to explore diverse academic interests.

The session offered insightful and engaging information. Students who were unable to attend are encouraged to make an appointment with the college counselor to explore opportunities at University of Massachusetts Amherst.

Michigan State University

March 20, 2026

Michigan State University came to visit CDS for a college visit session. During the presentation, students were introduced to the academic programs offered at MSU that the students were interested in pursuing. 

Students also learned about the admissions process and the application requirements. The session was both informative and engaging, giving students valuable information into studying at MSU.

University of Sydney

Our students recently had the opportunity to attend a college visit session with the representative from the University of Sydney, one of Australia's leading universities.

During the session, the university representative introduced students to the wide range of academic programs, campus life, and the admission requirements.

If you were unable to attend the college visit, please book an appointment with the college counselor to learn more about studying at the University of Sydney.  

University of Hong Kong

February 25, 2026

The University of Hong Kong visited CDS to introduce its academic programs and student opportunities. During the college visit session, students learned about HKU’s world-class education, diverse academic offerings, and vibrant campus life in Hong Kong.

There was a Q&A session held  for students after the introduction of the university.
 Students who were unable to attend the session are encouraged to schedule an appointment with the college counseling office to learn more about HKU and other universities in Hong Kong.

Singapore Institute of Management

February 12, 2026

Singapore Institute of Management, a private tertiary education institution in Singapore, recently visited CDS to introduce its programs to our students during a college visit session.During the presentation, the representative shared information about SIM’s academic offerings and its partnerships with universities around the world. Through these partnerships, students can earn degrees from internationally recognized universities while studying in Singapore.
